Deafness Awareness Festival

On May 5th, Norfolk Council on Deafness will be holding a day festival to raise awareness within the general public and to show what services and support are available for the deaf and hard of hearing.

This is an opportunity for the deaf community, friends, carers and anyone with a general interest to see first hand the opportunities that are available in your region.

Attractions include: Lip-reading Tasters - Story Telling - Competitions
BSL Tasters - Deaf Children?s Presentations and Hearing Dogs plus much more?

In association with the festival, the Norfolk Deaf Association ?Listen Hear!? Bus will be present offering advice and services regarding NHS hearing aids, free of charge. It also has a selection of equipment suitable for people with hearing impairments and it?s trained team are there to help you.
