HEARING SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

Some 50 volunteers attending the Norfolk Deaf Association’s Hearing Support Service annual “Refresher Day” were thanked for their efforts over the past year by Dr John Fitzgerald, Head of Audiology at the NNUH where he stressed how his staff were aware of the ever-increasing need for their work.

2 BSL Interpreters (JTI) on site. At least one non music performance BSL Interpreted each day. We hope to extend this. Workshop access.

This year’s show was held at Blicklng Park and was a first for the NDA.
Dennis and Cym Cant teamed up with Bill Jones to support the Listen Here! Bus. It was a fanatstic PR excercise with lots of new enquiries.
Next year we shall be attending many more venues throughout the County.
